Measure the work. Then adjust the plan.

Activebodyhabits tracks a small set of numbers so the next twelve weeks are written from evidence. The numbers live on your sheet. They are not a public ranking. Individual results vary with sleep, food, injuries, and the sessions you actually attend.

What we measure, and why

Four groups of metrics sit on the cycle sheet. Strength markers tell us if the main lifts are climbing at the same range and the same effort note. The conditioning benchmark tells us if the engine piece is faster or easier. Attendance tells us whether the plan matches the diary. The mobility screen tells us if the positions we load are still available.

We measure these because they change the next session. A heavier squat with lost depth is not a green light. A faster row that leaves you unable to train two days later is not a green light. Showing up on the days you booked, at the loads we wrote, is the signal we trust.

We do not track body-mass as a primary target. If you want scale weight in the conversation, we can add it as a note. It does not override the four groups above.

Strength markers

Usually a squat, a hinge, and a press, loaded at a noted RPE. We log the best quality set, not a grind. Why: so week eight is compared to week two on the same terms.

Conditioning benchmark

A 500-metre row, a six-minute bike, or a mixed interval you have seen in the hour. Why: so engine work has a repeatable reference, not a new hero piece every Friday.

Session attendance

Booked versus trained, plus late cancels. Why: a four-day plan that you attend twice is a two-day plan, and we should write it that way.

Mobility screen

Squat depth, hinge position, shoulder range, ankle range. Why: so we stop loading a pattern that has closed up, and so Mobility hours have a job.

What the first screen looks like

The movement screen is about twenty minutes on the floor. We watch a squat, a hinge, a lunge, a press, and a short conditioning piece. You are coached through each pattern. We are looking for range, control, and anything a joint does not like. The notes become the first Ramp sheet.

Wear kit you can move in. Bring any letter from a doctor if you have one. We do not diagnose. We do decide which patterns to load, which to swap, and which to leave for Mobility. You leave with starting loads and a recommended format.

Example cycle — illustration only, individual results vary

The table below is an illustrative benchmark for a member who trained three times a week on Hybrid Build. It is not a promise, not an average, and not a before-and-after claim. Your numbers will differ. We show it so you can see the shape of a review sheet.

The habit scorecard

Sleep, steps, protein, and attendance sit on a weekly card for Hybrid members and for anyone who asks for it. You send the numbers. We reply with one change. The card is discussed at the same reviews as the lifts. A week of 6,000 steps and two kept sessions is useful information. A perfect week once a month is not a plan.

We talk about the card in ordinary language. If protein is low, the next cue is a target at breakfast, not a lecture on biochemistry. If sleep is short because of a project deadline, we cut Load-phase volume for those days instead of pretending the original sheet still fits.

When the scale does not move

If body-mass is unchanged and the squat, the row, and attendance have all improved, that is a successful cycle. Clothes fitting differently can matter to you and still not be a studio target. We will not invent a fat-loss guarantee to fill the silence. We will keep loading the work that is actually climbing.

What we don't promise

We do not promise a timescale for a heavier lift, a faster row, or a change in body-mass. We do not promise that twelve weeks will look like anyone else’s twelve weeks. We do not publish client results, ratings, or named stories. Illustrative numbers on this page are labelled as such.

What we do is write a plan, coach the hour, review on the dates we set, and adjust when the week you live is different from the week we wrote. That is the whole product. If you need a medical diagnosis, a dietitian, or physiotherapy, we will say so and work with the advice you bring back.

Bring a week. Leave with a sheet.

The first numbers come from the movement screen. Everything after that is compared to that morning.
